Iloilo Dinagyang Feast – Part 1

Yes, I mean feast and not fest! Just read on and you will know… *wink wink and wink*

I was there again for the Dinagyang and with a heavy heart. You see, my one interest in this city seem to have soured and he has stopped txtng me since middle of last year. Maybe he was caught by the girlfriend and told to stop or maybe he just thought it was time to stop. Thus, my purpose in visiting the city was just to witness the Diangyang once again.

So I thought!

Even as I checked-in at Iloilo Midtown, everything in me itched again. Ah gosh! What can I do? The room boy was rather cute! And my opening line was “are all roomboys in this hotel as handsome as you”? Ayayay! But it worked! He went out of my room after a tight embrace and a gentle kiss! Haaayy! Now I was a bit happy harharhar! And I went out to roam the city in good spirits thinking that if I really needed to have sex, there was (already) a prospect!

Now you might want to know this… the Dinagyang Festival is not an easy time to start hooking for the men of Iloilo. Everyone is just so busy. Yep, busy watching shows, busy doing their shows, busy selling things to tourists, busy assisting tourists, busy with friends and family and so on. Even I was busy catching my jaw as it kept dropping as I watched the dances. They’re mostly very rigid celebratory movements with a lot of acrobatics and humungous props! Well, ah, yes… there always are cute guys amongst the mostly-gay performers!

After watching the parade, what else haha, I returned to Midtown Hotel for a little rest so I’d have enough energy for dinner (and whatever else might be onwards). On arrival, I called for a sandwich and coke room service. Hmm, delectable! I mean the one who brought my order! Yeah, he’s the same guy I kissed earlier. As we hug tightly (fully dressed), I asked him what time he would be out of the hotel, the reply was 7PM. Unfortunately, if we wanted to do anything like dinner or “more”, it couldn’t have been done in my room for obvious reasons haha! How long can a hotel employee stay at a guest room anyway, right? So we set a time and location for that after dinner. He added that he’d see me together with one of the cooks whom I will surely like!

After dinner, I went to a street-corner (as previously agreed w/ my room boy) and ordered beer. Am sure you already know that during Dinagyang, street corners, sidewalks and every available space in the city center becomes an instant plethora of tables and chairs where people can enjoy cheap beer and barbecues. I have not even drank my beer when my man arrived with the cook! Cook? Gosh! He was a big man. Flabs obviously all over but good that he is tall at more than 6 feet. Curly hair with abundance of hair everywhere except on the forehead haha!

We traded stories and jokes as they drank red horse and I, San Miguel Light. Bigger man told me his brother would come to fetch him via motorbike so he was okay to get drunk tonight. He even joked that he would not be as drunk so he can give me a good fight in bed hahaha! Then came the brother! OMG OMG! Also tall but not hairy, had straight hair and not at all flabby. More handsome I said.

The big man (now a bit tipsy) teased me and asked his brother to sit beside me. I was happily surprised younger bro ordered San Mig Light for a drink. And the brother joked that we looked good together and compatible as we both liked SML. Ah, my hair! Alright, shorten the story… I ended up back at my hotel room with a non-employee of Iloilo Midtown hotel! Ahhh!

I truly had a feast!
