The Quezon Memorial Circle has long been known to be a pick-up area for boys and girls! I have yet to actually go and explore the insides of this park/memorial.
But if its boys for hire you want, there is actually no need to go inside the park as they are "blatantly" awaiting by the roadsides of the perimeter highway that circles around this park. Start at the frontage and waiting shed of the Quezon City Hall. There are lots of them especially during late nights. The corner of Kalayaan Avenue with the circle is particularly inhabited and they'll even run up to your vehicle if they sense you are decelerating. Of course the other side of the corner is the fancy building of Philipppine National Bank (PNB) where many of them boys will also be hanging out by the spacious parking area.
Onwards is another waiting shed in front of the National Housing Authority beside that little corner of a little road that leads to the Teachers Village / UP Village. Boys will also be generally hanging out there, watchful of your arrival and ever ready to outshine everyone when you do come by!
Next corner turns to Philcoa which we have described in the previous log. Don't turn right but continue on and you hit another waiting shed just in front of the PCA (Philcoa) Building. It darker in this area but I wonder why thre are few of them boys waiting at this place.
The routine goes all the way following the circular road skirting the Quezon Memorial Circle to the Agrarian Reform, Deaprtment of Agriculture, outside the fence of the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife, the Lung Center, the Kidney Center and back to the City Hall - even the Heart Center area and that street that goes through to the Sulu Hotel!
This place just teems with action! One time my hada was even a policeman! Gosh!
